Principal Sales Engineer

Anders Karlsson has been in the database industry for more than 40 years, working for many small and large database companies, as well as with clients. Anders began his career as a Unix system administrator though, but soon databases became his main interest. He has had many different roles over the years, but has spent most of the time with Sales Engineering, allowing him not only to work with the core database technologies but also seeing and assisting with it being used in real world applications. Anders joined MariaDB in 2012 and has worked with Open Source database technologies since 2004.
